The night before Rosh Hashanah, Foreign Minister Eli Cohen traveled to Bnei Brak to receive a bracha from HaGaon HaRav Meir Tzvi Bergman.
The Rosh Yeshivah brought up the Yom Tov tefillah at the beginning of the discussion and asked Cohen to emphasize his Jewish identity while traveling overseas.
Cohen said he is nearing completion of the speech he would give at the assembly and would want to reference the Rosh Yeshivah.
Cohen left for New York on Monday to attend the 78th UN General Assembly. In agreement, HaRav Bergman handed Cohen a bracha for hatzlacha and explained that the Chazal claim that “” is Torah. He added,”.
