Flatbush Shomrim On The Lookout For A Missing Person, Just Hours After Locating Another Case

On Monday, the 7th of September, Flatbush Shomrim were baffled by two missing person reports that were filed one after another, with just hours of an interval between them. While the volunteers were successful in tracing one person, the other still seems to be missing.

A strenuous day for the Flatbush, Boro Park, Williamsburg, Staten Island Shomrim, Crown Heights & Rockaway Nassau two missing person reports were reportedly filed yesterday.

Earlier in the day, an elderly lady had gone missing and an intensive search had been undertaken by the six Shomrim wings immediately.

Owing to the quick response and intensive search, Shomrim managed to locate the woman at around 7:30 PM the same day.

Just minutes after recouping from this incident, Flatbush Shomrim received another phone call for a missing person from Coney Island beach. Taking note of the situation instantly, a missing person report was filed, and the search for Tzvi Horowitz commenced from 9:30 PM.

While there is still no headway regarding Horowtiz’s search, the Boro Park, Williamsburg, Staten Island, Crown Heights, as well as Rockaway Nassau Shomrim have been called in to lend their assistance.

The safety patrol has also requested ATVs, bikes, and additional methods of transportation to carry out and continue the search.
