To ensure peace and security, the Shomrim Patrol Organization has vowed to add more personnel that will go around Boro Park streets in the next few weeks especially during Leil-Shishi.
On Thursday night, Shomrim said the presence of more of their members in the neighborhood is needed since many teenagers go to Shul during the night and early morning hours.
It was learned that by tradition, in many Hasidic homes during the weeks of Shovavim many men will go to Shul for learning or praying during the night and early morning hours.
The presence of additional patrol driving in the neighborhood will create a sense of security for those who will use the streets during the dark hours of the night.
