
Assemblyman Simcha Eichenstein has been named the next assistant majority whip of the New York State Assembly, according to a statement by NYS Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie on the opening day of the 2023 legislative session.
Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie declared, “I am happy to have nominated Assemblymember Simcha Eichenstein to serve as Assistant Majority Whip for the Assembly Majority.”
“He will be a valuable addition to our leadership team and a cherished member of the Assembly. The diversity of our staff must reflect the communities we serve, and I look forward to collaborating with Assemblymember Eichenstein to move New York forward in the coming term.
Assemblyman Eichenstein will concentrate on uniting our numerous and diverse communities across New Jersey as Assistant Majority Whip.
