
Six persons were murdered in an accident between a small bus and a box truck in upstate New York close to the Canadian border.
Federal and state officials are looking into the accident.
It happened around six in the morning. On Saturday, I traveled north along the St. Lawrence River on Highway 37 in Louisville, about 150 miles (240 kilometers) north of Syracuse.
According to state police, the bus was where the six fatalities and three additional badly injured passengers occurred. The status of one of the injured was critical.
According to WWNY-TV, the LBFNY solar energy company’s emblem was on the bus.
Numerous ambulance crews and other first responders were present, according to Matt Denner, emergency services director for St. Lawrence County, who spoke to WWNY.
Everyone present experienced a complicated scene, according to Denner.
The National Transportation Safety Board and state police are investigating what caused the collision.
The NTSB reported that it assembled a six-person team to conduct a safety investigation.
