Radical members of the “squad” Reps. Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib have been linked to a Muslim group that persistently made efforts to free Lady Al-Qaeda aka Aafia Siddiqui- whose freedom was the motive behind last Saturday’s synagogue attack in Texas.
Known antisemites Tlaib and Omar have been found to be linked with Muslim-American rights groups which recently advocated for Siddiqui’s release, who the FBI has noted a deadly terrorist planning devastating attacks.

In November, the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) and American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) held a joint “Free Dr. Aafia” Advocacy Day in Washington DC, in an effort to lobby Congress for her release. One month later, CAIR honored Ilhan Omar as “American Muslim Public Servant of 2021” at its virtual gala event. In April, Tlaib joined Dr. Osama Abuirshaid, executive director of the AMP, for a discussion about Palestinian rights.
According to the FBI, Siddiqui was convicted in 2010 of attempting to murder Americans in Pakistan. Earlier on, in 2008 she was “detained by Afghan authorities, who found a number of items in her possession, including handwritten notes that referred to a ‘mass casualty attack’ and that listed various locations in the United States, including Plum Island, the Empire State Building, the Statue of Liberty, Wall Street, and the Brooklyn Bridge.”
Neither Omar nor Tlaib’s office responded to questions on the matter.
