A man who was wanted for brutally assaulting a Jewish girl in Flatbush was arrested on Monday.
According to sources, a local neighbor saw the man on Coney Island Avenue and Avenue J and recognized him from the widely spread “wanted poster” that Shomrim had put up.
The man phoned Boro Park Shomrim immediately, who was on the spot in a flash and confirmed that it was, in fact, the same individual.
He was brought into custody when the NYPD was contacted.
The unsettling encounter happened last week along Avenue J and East 5th Street.
Multiple surveillance cameras filmed the entire incident, and after the assault, the NYPD and Shomrim searched the area for him.
