
Known to cheer families in times of need, the Tantzers organization has now taken a step forward in creating a family center in Boro Park, which provides children with a warm, relaxing, and safe space that takes away their worries and encourages them to play and socialize.
Celebrating the inauguration of the beautiful new family center tonight, the organization hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony and assured that the new location would be a great place for young patients and their families to relax, play and socialize after school hours.
In attendance were Assemblyman Simcha Eichenstien & Councilman Kalman Yegar, Tantzers founder Zalig Friedman, CEO of BPJCC Avi Greenstien, Deputy Inspector Richie Taylor, Shomrim Coordinator and NYPD Clergy Liaison Ari Weiss , and many other highly respected individuals of the community.
According to their official website, the Family Center is targeted towards helping Children with a sick family member who are home alone night after night. The new Tantzers Family Center gives children daily structure and support.
Continuously “supporting families with the power of joy”, Tantzers help adults and children experiencing acute medical illnesses get back to a life of normalcy and happiness. The organization holds numerous events, Simchas, and Chizuk, ensuring a constant service to the society.
