On Wednesday afternoon, terrorists retaliated by firing over 100 rockets at central and southern Israel in an hour, a day after the IDF murdered three senior leaders of the Islamic Jihad and hours after the deaths of two other terrorists who were planning to fire rockets in the Gaza Strip.

On Wednesday afternoon, rocket launch alert sirens were heard from the Gaza border up to Rishon Letzion, Tel Aviv, and Ramat Gan in the north. Parents in Tel Aviv were instructed to bring their children from home educational facilities.

Ashkelon, Ashdod, and Lachish reported hearing sirens after they had been initially heard in Sderot and adjacent towns.

A half-hour later, the Tel Aviv region also reportedly heard sirens. Iron Dome largely stopped all of the rockets aimed at civilian areas.

A rocket hit a home in the southern town of Sderot. No casualties were recorded at the time, but the house was destroyed even though it was empty.

According to an IDF official, Israeli forces responded by bombing Islamic Jihad mortar and rocket launcher locations in the Gaza Strip.

The Gaza Strip’s Islamic Jihad terrorist organization’s rocket and mortar launch sites were struck by the IDF.

“IDF fighter jets recently struck Islamic Jihad terrorist group rocket and mortar shell launch locations along the Gaza Strip after identifying the movements of terrorist squads near rocket launching pits.

The particular instructions released on the National Emergency Portal must be followed by civilians.

According to a senior defense officer, Hamas is not actively involved in the rocket launch.
