Nissan Shalom, 30, was killed, and the NYPD took a suspect into custody.
Shalom was fatally stabbed on Tuesday, January 10, in front of Kaché Restaurant and Lounge on Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, as previously reported by Yidinfo.
Ansel Payano, a 34-year-old Brooklyn resident, has reportedly been detained by police about the homicide.
The NYPD claims no proof that the murder was motivated by anti-Semitism.
