The Shin Bet successfully apprehended the terrorists in a sting operation to stop them from attacking the community of Nachliel in the Binyamin region by tricking them into purchasing weapons from undercover officers.

The security agency knew that the terrorists planned to attack the day of the Jerusalem Flag Day Parade. Additionally, they were aware that the terrorists were looking to get weapons to carry out their schemes.

The terrorists were contacted by undercover agents who pretended to be arms merchants and agreed to supply them with weapons for their mission.

The operatives successfully won the terrorists’ trust and set up two different but concurrent meeting locations for the trade, according to a Channel 12 report.

The terrorist was initially shown the firearm after getting into the Shin Bet agents’ car.

The Shin Bet man overpowered him when he requested the weapon, and more agents soon showed up and took him away for questioning.

Another Hamas terrorist counted the cash to buy his weapon when he was beaten and taken into custody.

According to the study, the Shin Bet has stopped 259 shooting attacks since the start of 2023.

The sting operation, where terrorists are apprehended by putting their trust in masked operatives, is one of the most effective techniques.
