The hot dog and beverage options for Jewish Yankees fans during the game are about to improve.
PKS is taking over all kosher food vendors at Yankee Stadium (Prime Kosher Sports).
According to Dani Klein’s kosher food blog, Yankee fans have long believed that the Met’s only advantage over the Yankees is their kosher food selection, not their players (sorry, Jeff and Pete). (Many Mets supporters, however, beg to differ.)
The four kosher stands at Yankee Stadium will now be managed by PKS beginning with the 2023 season, replacing “Strikly Kosher,” which has been in business for over 20 years.
Jewish (and non-Jewish) fans can look forward to prospective menu items such as hot dogs, sausages, deli sandwiches, and BBQ brisket sandwiches starting on opening day on Thursday, March 30th, 2023.
PKS debuted in 2015 at Coney Island Brooklyn Cyclones games. They now have kosher stands and restaurants around NYC, like Maimonides Park (home of the Brooklyn Cyclones), Citi Field, Yankee Stadium, the USTA National Tennis Center, and the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ.
The company also ran PKS By the Shore, a complete sit-down restaurant near the Jersey Shore in Deal, New Jersey. Yankee Stadium has PKS kosher stands in sections 112, 214, 229, and 323.
Chof-K has a kosher-certified restaurant.
