A late-night incident between two cars near the village of Beit Hillel in northern Galilee resulted in the deaths of three teenagers, ages 16, 17, and 18, and the relatively severe injuries of another two people.

Uri Malul, Ariel Stern, and Daniel Porat were returning from late-night amusement in Kiryat Shmoneh when they did an illegal U-turn without seeing a car approaching from the other direction,

According to the initial police investigations into the accident.

According to the Upper Galilee regional administration, three young people from Kibbutz Kfar Blum were killed in a car accident last night.

The kibbutz’s directors and social workers support the families throughout this trying time.

The three young people arrived to spend a day off at the Si-Kafeh coffee shop near Kiryat Shmoneh, where they shared employment.

Friends claimed that the three were inseparable and that they only came to support and be with each other when one of them was on duty.

Despite his youth, Uri served as a kitchen supervisor while the three worked as cooks in the kitchens.

The coffee shop closed as astonished coworkers struggled to understand the catastrophe that had befallen them.
