Currently, the president is on the Caribbean island of St. Croix, where he is probably lounging on a beach chair and sipping margaritas (with thickener, of course).
The $1.7 trillion federal spending bill was recently passed by Congress, but Joe’s vacation time is too full of activities, such as napping and receiving cleansing enemas, for him to travel to Washington to sign the legislation.
As a result, he had the bill flown to him in the Caribbean, where he signed it into law, just as any other person would.
The president needs a vacation, you see. That cannot be hampered by the year’s most considerable spending measure.
