According to rumors, President Trump has been considering going back on Twitter after being barred by the establishment for about two and a half years.
While it might not happen anytime soon, insiders tell Axios that Trump is considering it as the primary season approaches.
Trump has about 87 million Twitter followers but hasn’t updated the site since he was blocked on January 6.
Now, an increasing number of Trump supporters anticipate another tweet from him.
Trump has been broadcasting his ideas to Truth Social’s 5 million followers for over a year. Elon Musk restored Trump in November, but he has not tweeted since.
According to a person close to Trump, he only sends less than half of the Truth Social postings on his own. Others are authored by top campaign aides or are dictated by him.
Republicans frequently repeat Trump’s posts on Truth Social to Twitter’s wider audience under Musk.
“President Trump must restore Twitter’s glory. Mike Davis, a supporter of Trump and the creator of the conservative legal organization The Article III Project, says: “I want him to get back on before the presidential campaign heats up.”
“From a business standpoint, it’s excellent that he only works with Truth. He should be on Twitter from a political perspective.
Trump has recently increased his participation in Truth Social. He took advantage of the platform a few weeks ago to prevent the DOJ from indicting him in the case of the paper.
