Following a gun attack on a police van near Har Bracha, two terrorists were eliminated in the city of Shechem by IDF Givati commandos and Police Special Forces.
Hairi Shahin and Hamza Maqbul, who were trying to elude capture in the city, were killed in a confrontation with IDF soldiers who had surrounded the house they were hiding in.
During the raid in Shechem, two more terrorists were captured. Soldiers from the IDF were unharmed.
The incident happened the day after a Givati soldier named Shilo Yosef Amir was killed in a devastating terrorist attack in Kedumim.
According to Prime Minister Netanyahu, “Every terrorist who dares to spill the blood of Israelis will find himself in one of two places: in a grave or in prison.”
The prime minister also complimented the forces that took part in the operation.
Prior to its destruction, IDF forces also made a map of the terrorist’s residence in the village of Kibiya.
One soldier was slightly hurt when stones were hurled at the military, who fired back in response.
