Some might call it absurd but entertainer Ice Cube has decided to abandon his supposed $9 million payday in a Sony comedy flick “Oh Hell No” with Jack Black due to a vaccine mandate.
According to reports, Ice Cube walk away from his multi-million paycheck after the producers of the film asked the cast to get a jab.
Sources said Filmmaker Kitao Sakurai planned to shoot the flick this winter in Hawaii when the Ice Cube report surfaced.
It is the second film Ice Cube has decided to abandon in recent months,
Ice Cube also exited the boxing flick “Flint Strong,” in which he was supposed to co-star.
No reason was given why Ice Cube left the production of the film.
Hollywood insiders said producers have the option “to implement mandatory vaccination policies for casts and crew in Zone A” — where cast and crew work in close proximity — “on a production-by-production basis,” according to an agreement made in July between studios and actor guilds.
