
According to Palestinian sources, two Palestinian brothers were killed amid clashes with IDF troops early on Tuesday north of Ramallah.
After two military trucks broke down in Beit Umar, a town close to Hevron, there were skirmishes between the Palestinians and the soldiers that resulted in the death of another Palestinian.
According to the Palestinian Authority Health Ministry, Israeli troops allegedly opened fire on the brothers, Jawad Rimawi, 22, and Dhafer Rimawi, 21, in the village of Kafr Ein, killing them.
IDF sources did not immediately confirm the report.
In the Beit Umar incident, Palestinians opened fire on the soldiers after their jeeps broke down, and they were also attacked with stones and explosives.
According to an IDF investigation, the soldiers retaliated with live fire and other riot-dispersing tools.
According to Palestinian accounts, Mufid Ahlal was killed, and eight others were hurt while fighting with IDF soldiers.
According to the IDF, IDF personnel safely retrieved the jeeps, and no soldiers were hurt.
Tuesday morning, the IDF announced that during overnight operations in the towns of Jaba and Kafr ‘Aqab, forces had captured two wanted Palestinians.
Also, 16 wanted Palestinians were apprehended during operations on Sunday night.
