Six Israelis were hurt in a terror incident near the town of Ariel on Tuesday morning, and three later died due to their wounds.
The terrorist attacked three distinct locations, stabbing a security guard at the Ariel Industrial Park’s entrance before moving on to a petrol station, where he stabbed two more persons, gravely injuring one of them.
He then took off in a car, colliding with several vehicles on Route 5.
Before being shot by security personnel, the attacker allegedly got out of his car and stabbed a second person.
The 35-year-old security guard was listed as being in moderate condition by the Magen David Adom ambulance service, while two men in their 40s who were hurt at the gas station were listed as being in severe and critical condition, a man in his 50s was critically injured in the car accident, and a third 35-year-old was stabbed on Route 5 and is listed as being in serious condition.
Two other persons severely injured in the vehicle accident also ultimately died, including the man who was critically hurt.
Four patients, including one in terrible condition and two others in serious condition, are being treated, according to the Beilinson hospital.
Mohammed Souf, a 19-year-old Palestinian from the town of Hares who identified as a member of Fatah, was the assailant; residents and law enforcement subdued him.
According to Yossi Dagan, regional director for Samaria, the incident was “clearly caused by the outgoing government’s loss of sovereignty and deterrents.” The situation must alter under the next administration. The terrorist in a suit, Abu Mazen [Mahmoud Abbas], is responsible for organizing and supporting this wave of terrorism.
