Israeli police have detained two Palestinian teenagers for violently forcing a Charedi man to kiss one of their feet while filming him in the Old City.
The 14 and 16-year-old monsters then uploaded the video to TikTok with the remark, “look at how he loves his shoes,” and a laughing emoji.
This is only the most recent in a long line of attacks, or demeaning videos Palestinians have been filming of Charedim in recent months.
A Palestinian was caught on camera pouring hot coffee on an Orthodox guy in one video that went viral and resulted in a two-year prison sentence.
They were taken into custody on Thursday, and a judge ordered their imprisonment extended by four more days on Friday.
In a statement, the police vowed to “continue fighting the crimes of abuse, violence, and humiliation and bring those responsible to justice.
The offenders realized that filming the incident would only help the police gather evidence, find those involved, and quickly arrest them, making it even more severe to document and propagate such unlawful acts on social media.
