
An Australian man has made it to the global headlines after he set himself on fire using gasoline inside his car in the Richmond section of Melbourne on New Year’s Day.
The local police said the man suffered burn injuries after the incident around 8 p.m local time.

The victim whose name had yet been released by the police was immediately rushed to the Alfred hospital for medical treatment.
Sources said the victim is now in critical but stable condition.
The local said the victim made the unthinkable act because he is not happy with the vaccine mandate of the Victorian government.
According to reports, the Victoria state government requires individuals to present proof of vaccination in order to enter bars, restaurants, and movie theaters.
The mandate also requires workers to be fully vaccinated.
