After a black bear approached her picnic table and started to eat the food on it, a brave woman protected her son and stood still.
Even when the bear turned to face her and her kid briefly while it was still eating, the mother made no attempt to move.
Fortunately, the bear quickly finished eating and made its way away without hurting the woman. The incident happened in the state of Nuevo Leon’s northern Chipinque Ecological Park. It is a component of the natural habitat of the black bear.
While the black bear feasts on the Mexican cuisine festival, a mother is seen hiding a child’s face in a video that was recorded by another person at the table. The three people seated at the table can reach the bear with their arms.
The family member who had the bear encounter up close claimed it was their first time having such a close interaction with a black bear and advised against bringing food into the park.
