During his speech at Fort Walton Beach High School on Tuesday, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis fielded inquiries on recent criticisms of the former president.
“One of the things I’ve learned in this job is that you have to absorb incoming fire when you’re leading and getting things done.
That’s exactly how it is, he explained.
“What you learn is that everything is noise.
What counts is whether you are in charge and taking initiative. Are you advocating for people and achieving outcomes for them?
All of that won’t matter if you do that. We have taken that action.
We prioritize leadership and outcomes.
I would advise everyone to visit the scoreboard from last Tuesday night at the end of the day.
