Early on Monday morning, the IDF attacked a community close to Jericho to find any nearby terrorists.
In clashes with terrorists in the Akbat Jaber camp south of Jericho, one individual, 17-year-old Jibril Al-Lada’a, was killed, and eight others were injured, according to Palestinian sources. The action continues, and the IDF has not received any reports of casualties.
According to an IDF spokesperson, IDF forces also made three arrests in Judea and Samaria in the towns of Zababdeh, Rumana, and Nur Shams.
Suspects engaged in tire burning, fireworks, and shooting at the soldiers during the action in Nur Shams, to which the latter replied with live fire.
The authorities also discovered and took possession of a pistol. The troops captured six more wanted individuals in the cities of Beitunia, Qaryut, and Bayt Surik.
The forces discovered and seized an M-16 rifle, an Airsoft gun, magazines, ammunition, and other weapons during their activity in Bethlehem.
According to the Palestinian Authority’s WAFA media station, conflicts between Bethlehem and the nearby town of Beit Jala resulted in the injury of one rioter and the arrest of one suspect.
