Eli Cohen, Israel’s foreign minister, stated during a press conference in Israel on Monday evening that images and videos of kidnapped Israeli children being kept in cages in Gaza were real.
Cohen referred to them as “monsters, inhuman terrorists.” The video shows five weeping toddlers clutching to the bars of rows of cages while adults can be heard laughing.
Marziyeh Amirizadeh, a speaker and novelist, posted on social media, “This is so evil; this is beyond words.” “I can’t stop crying as I watch such brutality.”
