The terrorists responsible for the April 7 murders of Lucy Dee and her daughters Rina and Maya were neutralized by Israeli security forces early on Thursday morning.
The attackers, who belonged to the Hamas terror organization, were killed by security personnel in Shechem.
A top terrorist aide was also killed at the same time by the IDF. Two Kalashnikov guns were discovered by security personnel inside the terrorists’ home.
According to Palestinian accounts, the incident resulted in three persons’ deaths and several others’ injuries.
Hassan Katnani and Ma’ed Masri, the assassins of Leah (Lucy), Maya, and Rina Dee HyD, who were killed in a terrorist attack near Hamra in the Jordan Valley, were killed, according to a statement released by the Shin Bet in collaboration with border police and the IDF spokesman.
Intelligence agencies discovered the terrorists’ lair in Shechem’s Kasba after the attack. The two killers and Ibrahim Houra, who had helped them in their deeds, were killed during a raid on the hideout by forces disguised as women.
The operation involved 200 fighters. Security personnel weren’t hurt, however, one trained IDF dog died.
The terrorists were residents of the Ascar refugee camp outside Shechem and active Hamas militants, along with Abed Fath Harousha, who killed the Yaniv brothers in February.
