
According to officials, seven passengers on a Lufthansa flight that had “severe turbulence” were sent to nearby hospitals after the airplane was diverted to Washington Dulles International Airport.
According to Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority spokesman Michael Cabbage, flight 469 from Austin, Texas, intended to land in Frankfurt, Germany, but safely landed in Virginia on Wednesday night.
According to reports, seven people were sent to hospitals with injuries that were thought to be minor when crews responded to the flight.
