The Chabad House in Jerusalem’s Rehavia district has been targeted for vandalism by unidentified individuals for the fourth time in a row.
Early on Friday morning, surveillance footage captured the culprit destroying Chabad material outside of the Chabad House and smashing property. Yisrael Goldberg, a Chabad emissary who has been involved in the community for more than ten years, claimed that the first time the damage started, he reported it to the authorities.
Rabbi Goldberg claimed, “They kept me waiting and delayed me with all kinds of responses before telling me that the matter was closed for lack of public interest.
If this had happened anywhere else in the world, everyone would have been startled.
Why do they let this occur repeatedly here in Israel’s capital city of Jerusalem? ” He claims, “At first, we felt it was an accident, but now that we see it occurring time and time again, it’s imperative that the suspect be detained right away.
The police have every available tool to locate him.
