
According to officials, two construction workers died at the John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York on Monday.
At approximately 11 a.m., according to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey manages the airport, the two workers became entangled in construction debris.
According to a local Fire Department official, the incident occurred in a ditch close to Terminal 7 of the airport.
According to the Fire Department, 60 firefighters worked to get the workers out of the trench.
At the site, both workers were declared deceased. Their names weren’t made public right away.
The Port Authority said it would conduct a comprehensive inquiry in a press release.
