With the help of Topple Hunger, Move For Hunger, a nationwide nonprofit that works to end hunger and food waste, was able to break the record for the most cereal boxes toppled in a domino-style.
The previous record was impressively broken in 2021 with 6,391 cereal boxes. The Henry Ford Detroit Pistons Performance Center hosted Move For Hunger, which set a new record for the largest cereal domino topple ever with a startling 12,952 cereal boxes toppled during the event.
WK Kellogg Co. and Kroger kindly donated the cereal utilized in the topple attempt, and the United Dairy Industry of Michigan gave a gallon of milk for each serving of cereal donated to help make this challenge possible.
To ensure that the food doesn’t go to waste and reaches people in need, all of the milk and cereal utilized during the event were sent to Forgotten Harvest and Gleaners Community Food Bank in Greater Detroit after the event.
We officially set a NEW GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the most cereal boxes toppled in a domino fashion🥣🎉
