At a press conference last week where Mayoral candidate Andrew Yang was endorsed by Assemblyman Simcha Eichenstein and Councilman Kalman Yeger, the mayoral candidate was asked about the city’s report on Yeshiva education.
Assemblyman Simcha Eichenstein took issue with the way the New York Times reporter phrased the question and jumped in to respond and educate the reporter on the quality of education provided by Yeshivas in comparison to the local public school.
