According to authorities, hikers who heard the missing Massachusetts woman’s calls for assistance discovered her alive in a marshy region of a state park.
The public has recently been asked for assistance by police in locating 31-year-old Emma Tetewsky, who was reported missing on June 26.
According to Easton Police detectives, officers were sent to Borderland State Park, roughly 30 miles (50 kilometers) south of Boston, on Monday night when hikers contacted 911 and reported hearing a woman’s cries coming from a marshy part of the park.
Tetewsky’s cries were audible through dense brush when police arrived, but they were unable to see her.
Then, three cops waded into a marsh for roughly 50 feet (15 meters), according to the officials, to reach Tetewsky.
The woman may have spent at least three days stranded in the marsh, according to investigators.
Tetwesky was rushed to the hospital with injuries that were significant but not life-threatening, according to the investigators.
