A 63-year-old woman died after she was struck by a truck while walking with a child in Williamsburg on Thursday.
Sources said the woman identified as Ruchel Gandel was babysitting a child when hit by a truck while walking along Myrtle Avenue and Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg.
Gandel was immediately brought to a local hospital where she was declared dead by the attending physician.
Luckily the child escaped without any injury from the deadly road accident.
