
The police are now hunting down some Arabs who violently attacked a Yeshivah bochurim on their way to the Kosel on Tisha B’Av night.
The police said one of the three victims was unconscious from the attack.
In the initial police investigation, the attack occurred on Motzei Shabbos at midnight when the three bochurim were near Sha’ar HaAshpot.
Suddenly, an Arab jumped out of the doorway of one of the houses and jumped onto a 24-year-old, punching him in the jaw with brass knuckles.
The police said a second Arab joined the attack, beating the victims head with a rock in his hand.
The police added that another one of the bochurim was attacked with pepper spray.
Due to the attack, the victim collapsed and lost consciousness.
At this instance, his friends screamed for help, alerting the police officers who were standing at the entrance to Sha’ar HaAshpot.
After the attack, the two Arabs fled the scene, and the police could not locate them.
According to reports, Y. was evacuated to Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, where he received stitches on his head and face and was Baruch Hashem, released the following day.
