On Shabbos/Simchas Torah morning, Yaniv Zohar, H’yd, a photographer for Yisrael Hayom, his wife Yasmin, and their two daughters were all killed.
Living on Kibbutz Nachal Oz was the family. That morning, Zohar’s son had gone for a run early in the morning.
He took cover in another kibbutz house when the attack started, which saved his life.
Tragically, he is his family’s lone survivor in a tale that has shades of the Holocaust.
