YouTubers can now earn more, thanks to the new ‘Super Thanks’ feature from the video platform which will enable users to support the creator and show gratitude for the content they create. Earlier in Beta testing, the feature will now be available to thousands of monetizing creators.
YouTube’s Chief Product Officer Neal Mohan announced the new feature, saying, “At YouTube, we’re always looking for fresh ways creators can diversify their revenue streams. That’s why I’m excited to unveil our fourth Paid Digital Good — Super Thanks. This new feature gives creators yet another way to earn money while also allowing them to strengthen relationships with viewers.”

With the new feature, viewers can pay between USD 2 and USD 50 for s “Super Thanks” purchase, which will then be visible n the comment section- highlighted in a distinct color.
According to the announcement by YouTube, the feature is available to creators and viewers in 68 countries on desktop and mobile devices (Android and iOS). Creators can check if they have early access by following the instructions on https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/10879035, and if they don’t yet have access, they will be expanding availability to all eligible creators in the YouTube Partner Program later this year.
