The girls studying at the Yeshiva of Spring Valley Girls School had to endure long walks in the cold weather after a public elementary school refused them shelter after they evacuated from their school on Monday due to a fire.
According to reports, the faculty of Grandview Elementary School refused to provide warm shelter to the YSV girls because they were not wearing masks.
Sources said the Rockland Chaveirim provided valuable aid to the girls by arranging heated buses for students to warm up.
